Bill's Funeral - A One Act Play
Gordon England and Lisa Farrall coauthored a one act play that was entered in Playwrights Workshop of Brevard and produced at Surfside Playhouse in May, 2016. This comedy is taken from the true events at the funeral for Bill Smith, a Treasury Agent who dies in a mysterious skydiving accident. His philandering ways come back to haunt him, even after death. The play can be seen on Gordon England's You Tube site. Click here.
This collection of true short stories takes the reader viariously to remote Cat Island during a Sailboat Regatta and Rake and Scrape music festival and scuba diving in the Bahamas where sharks unexpectedly show up. In legendary fishing grounds off Baja the timing is perfect for an incredible catch of albacore tuna. Another story is a historical fiction piece based on stories told by old Texans who chased Pancho Villa into rugged Mexican mountains. Yet more adventures tell of a flyer whose plane is forced down by Cuban MIGs and the pilot's subsequent ordeal in a wretched Cuban prison, as well as spending the night in a Florida swamp when an air boat flips into waters infested with snakes and alligators.
